WeChat Training Programme for Nike’s Women’s 10K Run Hong Kong
To help participants better prepare themselves for the Nike Women’s 10K Run Hong Kong, the team was asked to create an eight-week training programme, to be made widely available before the event.
We designed interactive kiosks that were placed in Nike stores around Hong Kong, to provide up-to-date information about the run, training tips, and the latest running apparel. We also designed an eight-week training application for the WeChat platform, which could sync with the Nike+ Running application. The WeChat application would then deliver a variety of training tips and goals for women on a weekly basis, based on their progress as recorded by the Nike+ Running application. Efforts culminated on race day, where an interactive screen pulled real-time data from the runners, to demonstrate their effort and progress.
