Galaxy Note 10 Short Film
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 — with its 4K video function, and ease of editing on its built-in software — was made for aspiring filmmakers.

At that time, online short films were doing particularly well in Singapore. We tapped on this opportunity to create a short film that would demonstrate the video capabilities of the mobile device. The story we told was also tailored to the local audience: A tale of childhood friends, who formed solid bonds through a shared love of music.

To build a credible story, we enlisted the help of a well-known local artist, Rai, who starred in our short film, and provided vocals for its original soundtrack.

Then, to drive hype and engagement, we created a Facebook contest around the short film, which was broken up into two parts. We released the first part of the film — which purposefully ended with a cliffhanger — and the audience had to guess how the story would end. Thereafter, we released the second part of our short film.
